I feel the same way Joel. Those backgrounds just seem to generic for me. They don't have that personlized style to them like when you make your own. It's especially generic when more and more people start using them. But I guess they are good for people starting out in the business or those who have limited patience and/or time to create their own. And like you two mentioned, they are great for manipulation and compositing. - Sal : Hi Paul, : You're absolutely right. When used with other elements and fine tuned to your needs they are extremely helpful, especially for text overlays and graphics work. I just don't like seeing those same bells on wedding videos over and over and over and over and over.... : Joel : : : Jumpbacks can be very meaningful...if you manipulate them in a creative way....the company themselves encourages people to change colors ect. I own AE 5.5 and Boris RED amongst others and we still find interesting ways to use jumpbacks. : : : : Regards Paul Holt : : : : : Can anyone tell me how the intro to the demo on this page is created with the ringing bells and text rolling in and out? Is this done with Premiere or is a pre-built clip that comes with a editing system.
