Finding who hosts a website! Can't Post

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows how you can tell who hosts someones website? Let's say you have an issue with copyright etc and you need to not only contact the owner of the business/website but the HOSTING COMPANY TOO.

Does anyone know.

Thanks

I assume they chose private domain registration?

Just find the host in their WHOIS info, and contact them. They will in turn contact the site owner.

Not entirely sure. Someone else might be more adept at about that.

But when you do find out the host, here is a sample letter to send them. As an example, I'm using 1&1 as the host.
