converting analog to digital Can't Post

I am upgrading to digital. I still use a panasonic 456 to do some of my production. What is the best way to convert the analog signal to digital. I've heard about Dazzle DV Creator but it has numerous problems. Can someone recommend the best way to convert my analog footage?
Thanks for the help.

Bany..I tried Dazzle and it was not satisfactory. I bought Formac Studio ~8 mo. ago amd it has worked great. Go to www.synthetic-ap.com and under "tips & articles" --Firewire & DV Video--gives a good run down on digitizers & price.

Try Canopus. they have an external analog to digital box and a digital card that does analog with locked audio. I personally haven't used it, but I have never heard anything bad about the products and quality.

I use the Canopus ADVC-100 on a daily basis and can't fault it.

Stay away from the Sony DA2 converter, it is famous for locking up your system! Sony discontinued it anyway.
I have the Formac Studio DV. It works great on imports but sometimes has trouble sinking up when you export from the computer to an analog device. Once it sync's up it seems to be ok although if you are using "Monster" video cables, you'll find they won't fit in the s-video plugs very well, the formac casing is too small.
