scanning slides --How to do MANY ??? Can't Post

 
Can anyone suggest a very good SLIDE SCANNER for use to use in our business.

The flatbed style is too teadius and we cant charge enuf to cover our time...

I was hoping that somebody would answer you. I would like to know for my own benefit. Until now, I haven't scanned many. I took them to a photo processing laboratory. They did it while I waited. It seemed so easy.

I would suggest that you move this thread to the Members Forum. Some people don't visit Wedding & Event Videography

Yeah, I gave up on transfers a long time ago. Someone you know got my 8mm transfer machine. Wink

Heck ... I won't even do photo transfers anymore unless they're digital files. Come to think of it ... no one has even asked about a photo transfer in years.

About 10 years years ago I was shooting slides off a foamboard for someones trip abroad in the 60's. All of a sudden I had to stop and really look to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing. Seems they had quite a few shots from a cabaret style show with the gals going topless. You never know what you're going to get with old film and slides.
