videotaping car races Can't Post

Does anyone know about the laws pertaining to taping auto races? I shot "behind the scenes" stuff for a professional racing team and am thinking about distribution. The tapes catch lots of racing fans, famous race drivers, lots of sponsor logos, and the track name signs. The races are not free to the public.

Not too sure about the law exactly but I know you may upset the organisers of the racing series if your video contains any coverage of the actual racing on the track, I would think that would breach broadcasting rights of whatever TV company had the deal for it, assuming it`s covered on TV.
If it`s promotional stuff for a team I can`t see how anyone would object.
The smart thing to do would be to contact the race organisers and ask advice.
