wireless microphone Can't Post

Okay, I know this question has been posted before, and I did a search for the answer, but I never get any results when I do a search on this (albiet very good) site.
Anyway, can someone please let me know what I need for an affordable wireless microphone set up? I have a Canon GL2. I've shot three weddings without a wireless mic, but I know I can't get by too much longer without one or two. So what are the suggested mikes and adapters for the camera? (I called around some last Friday, but the responses I got were both confusing and the quoted prices for the suggested items seem very expensive.)
Suggestions for where to buy would also be helpful.
Thanks,
Bakari
P.S. Someone should compile and publish a "Best of" suggestions from this site. I know it has a library, but it doesn't seem updated. A "Best of" book could include lots of resources and suggestions, especially for FAQ's like mine. I would pay $20 for such a resource.

There are lots of good wireless rigs, starting at around $400-500. Popular models include the Azden UDR-500, Samson UM-32, Sennheiser Evolution 100, and Audio Technica. Check the catalogs of supply houses like http://www.bhphotovideo.com

I've had success with the Samson wireless. You will have a confusing choice of lav mics for whichever wireless rig you choose. I really like the tone I get from my Sony ELM44.
Purchased from www.markertek.com Not the cheapest, but good selection.

You might also want to check out AKG's PR81. This is a very clean wireless purchased from B&H for under $600.00- It has never let me down and the audio quality is extremely good. Great signal to noise ratio too.

I agree with you Steve. I use AKG PR81 with my PD150 and very light and small enough to attach on the right side of the lens. Check it out, it's a four lever diversity wireless system.
