I can't for the life of me figure out why my colors don't print the way they look on screen. I've tried every combination of settings in PS and Epson Software. Golds on the screen print green. I can choose a goldish color with color management set to "Always Optimize for Printing" and when I change to "No Management" the gold turns to green. So I can leave it set to "No Management" and change the green back to gold and print......it prints looking green. I hope I am explaining this well enough so someone may be able to explain to me what's going on. This all started when I built my new PC and installed the ink caddy.....did both at the same time. My current flow: Scan with scanner software and save individual picture to a file Open PS-CS3 and make new file with the film and video preset PLACE scanned pic into the video preset file Apply NTSC colors filter Resize picture to fit the video frame Save as PSD There has to be a faster, better, automated way to do this. No problem, I have most of it designed already. My problem is when it comes down to the copyright on the disc. I want it to follow the outside curve of the CD. On the Bravo Pro that I normally use, this is not a problem, sure thing has the circular text tool that works great, but I have no clue how to achieve this in photoshop. I have tried to use several tutorials I have found on the net, but every one of them come up with funny looking warped text. Any ideas? I.E. scan 4 pics at once and PS will select and create a new image of each picture that was scanned, making 4 pics from 1 scan. I cannot find out how to do this.
