I tried Edius v1 on a 2 camera project which was nearly 2 hours long as but I found it was too easy to throw the non locked on audio/ video tracks out of sync by being in the wrong ripple mode with no indication of how far out or where you had gone out of sync- decided it was no use to me. This is a basic feature for 2 camera work. The only way to check audio sync was to watch the complete project! Even basic markers on clips would work. Is this feature in v2? Iain J it was too risky: :Audio i slocked to the video ont he video tracks. : you have seperate audio tracks, just like you have seperate title tracks in edius. : So you could mute the audio section of video via filters or keyframing and then in your seperate audio tracks do audio overlays etc. : Program is very wellplanned and thoughtout but like when switch from anything there is alearning curve to get the thing to do what you want it to do. : It's like driving a car. All cars are different some have their gear changes on the steering collum, some to your right..some are manual... The point being...knowing how to edit (Drive) is the hard part... getting accustomed to the car and learning how to make it do what you want to do is the easy part. : From people ont he VU boards switching from storm edit, premiere, and others... Moving to Edius witht he learning curve has been the easiest move. : go to canopus.com and download the demo of 2.0. it's very limited in what it can do but get a feel for the program you will be pleasently surprised. : -chris
