I was using a canon XL1s for a soccer game the other night, it was about 44 degrees and a little windy, not too cold for here. Well, during the taping of the game on 10 different times the camera stopped and told me to "remove the tape" I switched tapes three times. and it kept occurring.

What could of caused this and how can I keep it from happening again?

If its not a condensation error or a tape error I usually just run a head cleaner tape through it a few times. This has always fixed the issue. But I never had an error message occur that many times. Good luck!

Hope it worked out. I wonder if it could have been caused by breathing on the camera. I'd guess that could cause condensation in that temperature.
