My PD170 is resetting to DVCAM and 32k and telling me to SET CLOCK.

It shut down during a reception twice.

Question is there an internal battery to replace?

Plug the camera in for 24 hours, that should recharge the internal battery

Well, I'm the best there is. Plain and simple, when I wake up in the morning I piss excellence.

I know this is an old post but I was wondering if that solved your problem. Recently my back up camera (a Panasonic) shut down 3 times during a ceremony - had put a different battery on during one of the shut downs thinking that was the problem.

I wondered if that did the trick for you - plugging in the camera for 24 hrs.
