So if you haven't figured out how to do this, maybe you can help explain it to me. Although I haven't purchased FCPX yet, it's on my wish list. In the meantime, I'm trying to get educated. I've been looking around on the net for any help with this as it's all still unclear to me how to pass a project off to someone else, and or how to put it on an external drive so I can work on a FCPX project on my Mac Pro when at home, or on the external drive via my MBP when away.

Towards the end of the demo sharing projects is talked about.

This is a demo of where Apple, the industry in general, and FCP started and where they are now.
It's actually pretty unbiased and shows some features as to why FCPX will be the next leap in editing on the MAC.

It's not there yet, but much farther along than most are giving it credit for.
