comming across your work on someone elses site ..and having them claim it as thier own.It has happened to me this week...I am flattered and pissed at the same time. Someone has taken my videos and removed the sections where it has my logos and in the encoding..they removed any referance to me.

I did see one video on a website that looked alot like your style but with someone else's name on it, don't know if it's the one you're referring to.

In Final Cut Pro it is possible to do an opaque subtitle overlay over the entire clip. This could be used to foil video theft if you have your name on every scene. I'm thinking of doing this on my demos instead of just a tag at the end which is easily edited out.

I am taking actions and will watermark my work from now on . I won't post the link yet . btw Terry..at least they stoled the one you like the best :)

He has removed my clips and the sitution is closed
There was a misunderstanding , as he calls it... He had asked if he could show my clips a few months back as an example of a style of video. I said , I didn't care, they are posted and whoever sees them , sees them..but he went one step further by putting them on his site and removing my name and my company from both the encoded info and replaced it with his own and he edited out the logo from the start and end of the clips . I wrote and told him to remove my work and not use it anymore or I would contact weva ( he is a memeber ) and wineva..also a member..he did..and said sorry for the misunderstanding..
good enough for me ..I am easy to please.
also , for the record..it was a member of winevea who contacted me..they recognized my work on his site and wondered who was stealing from who.
