New Rules For Small Aircraft In Canada
Transport Canada which is similar to the NSTB in the US introduced two new exemptions that make it easier for businesses to fly small unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) safely and legally. A Special Flight Operations Certificate will no longer be required for certain operations involving very small aircraft under 2 kg or 4.4 pounds and aircraft between 2 kg or 4.4. pounds and 25 kg or 55 pounds.
