Producing a free video for a non-profit is a great thing to do that will benefit everyone. Make sure your video is a good one.
Bob Anderson applies the same principle to covering public events. Just by being so visible with his camera and gear, people ask him about video. But as I said in the article, the best reason to do a free video is to help a worthy non-profit.
Looking at my own business plus others I know personally, seems like a high priority should be to improve delivery times. Also make better use of Internet delivery technology and trend toward mobile (smartphone) viewing of content.
