While you can handhold a camera from a moving car, that requires two people – driver and shooter. And for some shots it’s just not possible to hand hold. Mounting the camera on a car used to require some expensive hardware, but now it’s a lot simpler and cheaper. So don’t let a small budget get in the way of making high production value video.
